MSR Simmerlite, by Tim I have had good experiences with the MSR Simmerlite stove
I have had good experiences with the MSR Simmerlite stove, both great times in the outdoors and good food. On both an 8 day walk in the Tasmanian Western Arthurs and on snow camping trips, this stove has proved its worth. Being powerful and quick boiling, fuel weight is minimised on long trips. As the name suggests, the Simmerlite has better simmer control than some other MSR stoves. The light and simple windshield allows this stove to work well even in windy conditions, and the low profile ensures stability: you don't want to lose your dinner just as it is cooked to perfection!
